Veterinarian
A Michigan transplant, Dr. Cari Hiler earned her bachelor’s degree from Smith College, graduating cum laude with a biology and chemistry double major, and a dance minor. After working in molecular genetics research at MGH, she attended Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2001 with honors.
Dr. Hiler has been providing compassionate care for dogs and cats on the South Shore since graduation. After running her own practice in Millis for years, she relocated to the north shore with her husband, started a family, and began offering relief veterinary services. Dr. Hiler came to Boxford Animal Hospital in 2022.
Dr. Hiler’s professional interests include feline internal medicine, histology, and ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. Outside work, Dr. Hiler enjoys spending time with her son, gardening, home improvement projects, cooking, reading, and crafting.
